Items listed below are considered farb and will NOT be acceptable to be worn or seen at the event
WWII M1 Helmet:
- fixed or swivel bale, front seam, WWII US manufacture
- Nets - Large, ½”, ¼”, and ⅛” inch netting is approved. Brown and OD colored nets are preferred, tan or khaki is acceptable, but not encouraged.
- British-made medium-mesh or small-mesh nets are also acceptable, preferably brown or green shades, not tan
- M41 Jacket with optional WWII division patch
- Tankers Jacket (Armored Infantry) with optional WWII division patch
- (M43 Jackets for 3rd ID/First Special Service Forces units only)
- M37 or M42 Wool EM Shirt with optional WWII division patch
- OR
- HBT Shirt, 1st or 2nd pattern only (Appropriate to unit, no unit patches or rank to be sewn on shirt)
- M37 or M42 Light OD Shade (“Mustard”) or 22oz Wool Trousers
- OR
- HBT Trousers, 1st or 2nd pattern only (Appropriate to unit)
- OD3 EM Trouser Belt with open face buckle
- Ankle Boots (Roughouts or Service Shoes)
- Boots are to be waterproofed with Dubbin or similar – bring this with you in case you need to re-waterproof
- NO work/modern boots of any type. Period reproductions or originals only.
- OD3 Leggings (Army type)
- (Double Buckle boots for 3rd ID units only)
- No paratrooper boots
Additional items:
- OD Wool Sweater (V-Neck, 5-button Highneck (original or good repro) or Red Cross Sleeveless)

- The Bazookaman is simply a Rifleman also carrying an M1A1 Bazooka (approved Replica or Deactivated) as well as his M1 Rifle and other Rifleman’s equipment
- The Assistants are also simply Riflemen also carrying a Bazooka Ammo Bag with tubes as well as their M1 Rifles and other Rifleman’s equipment

- Radio equipment (period version, or modern version depending on vehicle radio system)
- M37 or M42 Wool shirt
- HBT Coveralls, or two part HBT uniform, 1st or 2nd pattern only (no unit patches or rank to be sewn on shirt or coveralls)
- M1936 Pistol Belt (OD3)
- Canteen, Cup, and M1910 or M1941 Cover (OD3)
- M24 First Aid Pouch (OD3) or M10 First Aid Pouch or M42 First Aid Pouch (M24, M42 preferred)

- M1 Garand rifle
- M1 Carbine (no bayonet lug of adjustable sights. 4 hole handguards are allowed, but not preferred. No folding stocks unless you are portraying an airborne unit)
- M1903, A1, A3, A4 rifle (if you plan on bringing an A4 “sniper” rifle, please contact us, as we will need to inform our umpires to plan accordingly. Please also use the appropriate optic. No postwar or modern commercial optics are allowed.)
- BAR (no postwar carrying handles)
- M1928, M1, M1A1 Thompson Sub Machine Gun (No 16” barrels allowed)
- M3, M3A1 Grease Gun (No 16” barrels allowed)
- M1911, M1911A1 pistols (pistols should be finished in period correct blued or parkerized finishes. No adjustable sights, angled slide serrations, ambidextrous safeties, synthetic grips, etc.)
- M1919 Machine gun (semi/full-auto and gas guns are allowed)
- Automatic weapons are allowed and encouraged as long as the appropriate paperwork is kept with the owner at all times.
BANNED ITEMS

- Sunglasses of any kind
- modern watches
- obvious post war, foreign, or commercially available field gear stand ins
- Unmilitary haircuts and facial hair
- Modern boots as stand ins (No hiking boots, no modern boots that look “close enough”)
- No French Ranger “double buckle” boots.
- No clip on helmet chin straps
- No M44 suspenders
- No modern military undershirts, t-shirts
- No M45 trousers
