This email is my formal resignation from the position of CO of the CMHG.
This was a decision I did not make lightly, but is one that is right for me in this moment.
Many of you know that I'm working on my Master's in history right now, and because of that, I've had to significantly cut back on my hobbies. Reenacting is one of those.
Because I have been so busy with my school work, I have not kept up with my duties as the CO in a way that satisfies myself, and similarly, it does not satisfy the needs of the group. Moreover, I'll be in Yellowstone National Park all summer, and do not have consistent enough Internet access to perform admin tasks.
The CMHG deserves a CO who can devote more time to the club than I can.
As my XO, Ron LiButti will step in as CO, and will guide the CMHG forward, finishing my term. Ron is a proven and capable leader, and I have the utmost confidence that he'll lead the club in the right direction.
Please extend the same respect to Ron that you did to me, and please do not hesitate to lend him your support.
Thanks for trusting me with this position. Don't worry, I'll still be around at events. You're not done with me yet.
I wish to thank Sam for all his hard work and commitment to the CMHG for the past year and a half and wish him all the best with his continuing education.
